Ak-Chin Smash in the Sun Tour Event

The second tournament event for the Women's Long Drive season kicked off in Arizona.  The inaugural tour event for AK-Chin Smash in the Sun, and the first time in Arizona.  This is a grid designed specifically for Long Drive and was the second event televised by the Golf Channel.

Shrugging off her result at the Clash in the Canyon, Phillis made it to the Final 4 and as she advanced to the final, secured her dominance in the World Long Drive game with a massive 380 yard drive.  The distance was big enough to have placed her second in the Men's competition.
