Speed requires freedom and space!
Swing width refers to how far your arms stay from your body during the swing. Maintaining good width — keeping the lead arm extended and the trail elbow and hands away from the torso — creates a larger arc for the clubhead to travel. A wider arc increases clubhead speed because the club moves through a longer path at impact and the radius of rotation is larger.
Key points:
Keep the lead arm relatively straight
